CoreConnection - Post Pregnancy Rehabilitation Program

After giving birth, it is important to have your abdominals and your pelvic floor assessed by a pelvic floor specialist.  Weakness in your core and in your pelvic floor muscles can lead to various issues: diastasis recti, back pain, prolapse or descent of organs such as your bladder, uterus, or rectum, incontinence (urinary or fecal leaking), pelvic pain from tearing or epiosiotomy, and sexual dysfunction.

What you will learn in our postpartum program:

  • Safe, effective core and pelvic floor strengthening exercises to specifically help decrease the diastasis, and to stabilize your core and improve function

  • Movements to avoid to keep your diastasis recti  from getting larger

  • Stretches and postural alignment exercises

  • Learn awareness of your core muscles and how to engage your transverse abdominals during every day activities

Package includes:

  • Evaluation and assessment of diastasis recti and pelvic floor muscles (45-60 min.)

  • 6 follow up sessions (1x per month for 6 months) for soft tissue mobilization, assessment, taping and progression of exercises (30 min. each)

  • Access by email for questions or concerns in between sessions

*All evaluations are performed by Rachelle Bojer, MSPT, and all sessions are one-on-one

* Concierge services available where you can be evaluated in the convenience of your own home.  Travel expenses will be determined based on distance.

" Those of you who feel hopeless, helpless, and frustrated with DR, I want you to know that there's hope. I was pretty much hopeless a week and a half ago with a tummy that looked like 5 months pregnant with 1-2-1 DR gap. This all changed after one session with a pelvic floor PT (Rachelle Magsisi-Bojer). Within a week, my gap became 0-1-0 and lost 2" off my stomach."
